Set in 1930's London, this classic black & white 1940's Romantic Comedy stars Charles Boyer (The Garden of Allah, Gaslight, Casino Royale, Stavisky, Tovarich) & Jennifer Jones (Since You Went Away, Love letters, good Morning Miss Dove, Duel in the Sun, The Song of Bernadette, Gone to Earth, Ruby Gentry). Amateur plumber Cluny Brown (Jones) gets sent off by her uncle to work as a servant at an English country estate. While there, she becomes friendly with Adam Belinski (Boyer), a charming Czech refugee. Soon love is the air and nothing will ever be the same again.

This was director Ernst Lubitsch's last film and it's certainly one of his most engaging, mixing the romance with gentle satire as the two leads throw English society into disarray with their disregard for social conventions.
